COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification allows for the attainment of general competencies and also specialisation in dog handling, supervision and leadership, case management, community or emergency response streams.Candidates for this qualification will normally be employed in the supervision and management of offenders and detainees in the criminal justice system or within immigration detention centres, in Australian states and territories and/or offshore immigration detention centres.The general qualification covers the competencies allowing experienced staff to reflect advanced practice and greater team leadership roles.
